Child & Adolescent Psychologist
Dr. Lila Elkhadem is Child and Adolescent Psychologist with over 10 years of experience. She completed her Masters and Doctorate degrees in the Clinical-Developmental Psychology Program at York University, and is a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Dr. Elkhadem trained at Southlake Child and Family Services and Holland-Bloorview Children's Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr. Elkhadem has also provided assessment and treatment services to adolescents and families at Youthdale Treatment Centre, as part of a predoctoral internship. Dr. Elkhadem currently works at the Toronto District School Board, providing consultation and conducting psychological assessments. At Kids Psychological Centre, Dr. Elkhadem provides consultation, psychodiagnostic assessment and evidence-based interventions to address anxiety, depression, self-regulation, and behavioural concerns.
Monika is currently working towards her Master in Psychology designation. Monika has worked as a Child and Youth Worker in the education system for over 17 years helping children, adolescents, and their families to enhance their everyday functioning.
Monika is also a Registered Acupuncturist and the owner of her wellness clinic. She focuses on reducing pain and discomfort by balancing emotions and believes in the importance of creating harmony between the body and mind using a holistic approach.
In her spare time, Monika enjoys spending time with her children and family, staying active in the outdoors, traveling to new places and exploring new restaurants.
Monika is warm and inviting and is dedicated to the well-being of her clients.
Monika is bilingual, with fluency in English and Polish.
Jasmin is a York University and University of Toronto graduate student. She holds a B.A. (Hons) in Psychology and an M.Ed. in Developmental Psychology and Education. Currently, she is completing a Master of Psychology and is excited to join the Kids Psychological Centre team for her practicum. Jasmin is passionate about working with kids and adolescents and has 6 years of experience as an Early Childhood Assistant/Educator. Jasmin is also an avid researcher and is currently exploring the effects of digitized therapeutic methods on trauma.
Jasmin is bilingual, with fluency in English and Punjabi.
Prince is the Clinic Coordinator at Kids Psychological Centre, and is eager to assist and answer any enquiries about our service. Prince has a keen interest in children's mental health and Educational Psychology. Prince holds a BA (Hons) in Psycholinguistics and Psychology from the University of Toronto, and he has recently completed his MSc Psychology of Education in the United Kingdom.
Prince is trilingual, with fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
