Hoi Tai (Prince) Lau

Prince is the Clinic Coordinator at Kids Psychological Centre, and is eager to assist and answer any enquiries about our service.  Prince has a keen interest in children's mental health and Educational Psychology. Prince holds a BA (Hons) in Psycholinguistics and Psychology from the University of Toronto, and he has recently completed his MSc Psychology of Education in the United Kingdom.  


Prince is trilingual, with fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

Dr. Lila Elkhadem, Ph.D., C. Psych.

Dr. Lila Elkhadem is Child and Adolescent Psychologist with over 10 years of experience.  She completed her Masters and Doctorate degrees in the Clinical-Developmental Psychology Program at York University, and is a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario.  Dr. Elkhadem trained at Southlake Child and Family Services and Holland-Bloorview Children's Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr. Elkhadem has also provided assessment and treatment services to adolescents and families at Youthdale Treatment Centre, as part of a predoctoral internship.  Dr. Elkhadem currently works at the Toronto District School Board, providing consultation and conducting psychological assessments.  At Kids Psychological Centre, Dr. Elkhadem provides consultation, psychodiagnostic assessment and evidence-based interventions to address anxiety, depression, self-regulation, and behavioural concerns.

Ariel Ho, M.A., OACCPP

Ariel holds a Master's degree in Developmental Psychology from Wilfred Laurier University.  Ariel is certified with the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists (OACCPP) and is a Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP).


Ariel has work with a wide range of children and adolescents across a variety of settings, including university research programs, assessment centres, private practice clinics and schools.  Ariel has extensive psychometric experience in conducting psychological and psychoeducational assessments.


As part of our clinical team, Ariel thrives to cultivate positive experiences for children and youth by empowering them to successfully move forward to achieve at their best.

Sharmin Hasan, MSW, RSW

Sharmin is a Clinical Therapist registered by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Sharmin holds a Social Work Master's degree from University of Windsor, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child and Youth Care from Ryerson University, and Restorative Practices certification from the International Institute of Restorative Practices. In addition to providing therapy at Kids Psychological Centre, Sharmin is a School Counsellor at the Toronto District School Board. 


With over 15 years of experience, Sharmin has worked with children and youth with a wide range of challenges such as, anxiety, mood regulation, trauma, life transitions, family conflict, school advocacy and separation and divorce. Sharmin has extensive experience utilizing several treatment modalities. Namely, Mindfulness Based Stressed Reduction, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. With an integration of various modalities of therapy, Sharmin primarily uses an attachment-based lens and culturally sensitive approach to deepen understanding and help facilitate desired outcomes. 


Sharmin is committed to providing evidence-based treatment and support for children and youth based on their unique profiles to help them flourish.
